We are Presentation Systems Ltd, established in 2001 and are currently the only company whose sole business comprises design and manufacture (IN ENGLAND) of television for harsh environments. Yes they really are manufactured in England. Our brand is Envirovision™ a fusion of environment and television. Unlike other brands which may be manufactured in China with dubious components or comprising standard mass produced TV chassis. Supplied in kit form with a separate glass and brackets to fit and seal. Which involves manually building in rear wall boxes, attaching separate brackets and frames with separate glass. We have set about designing the very highest quality constructed bespoke stainless steel integrated TV's, which utilise the best technology available. This results in the highest quality integrated feature you can fit in to your bathroom or kitchen that will truly enhance a well finished room. Our first waterproof television circa. 2002 featured a 15" LCD honed into an all stainless steel housing, utilizing a unique heated glass screen. This incorporated function buttons around a mirrored border. The model evolved to the T3A and then later an additional model, circa 2003 the 17T1, a 17inch 16:9 model and the 17T1W, a surface mounted model. Interestingly these models were, and to this very day, remain the only waterproof televisions with purposely built integral heated screens to prevent misting. Utilizing a thin tin oxide coating on the inner surface of the screen conducting current (technology designed for aircraft windscreens). Then, this pitched Envirovision at the high end of the market. Other makes, although claiming to have heated screens in their glossy brochures infact did not and still don't! The best they can do is warm over hours of viewing from waste energy from the LCD back light. This has to radiate across an air gap to a separate glass or plastic screen. At best, a crude and inefficient method, at worst misleading. Fortunately our current models do away with separate screens, which avoid the transference problem. Further, it avoids the inherent problem during fitting of fingerprints between the screens or dust and debris trapping during and often long after the installation. Our other achievements include the worlds first ever DVB digital television (model 17EA0) circ. 2006, incorporating integral Digital (Freeview) and multi region analogue tuners. In March 2007 introducing the world’s first 19" True "HD Ready" integral Digital television with Freeview and High definition (HD) HDMI connections. With recent European wiring and safety laws in mind, we have introduced all models in two versions. Zone 1 locations (I. E: directly above bathtubs, inside shower cubicles) featuring a low voltage isolated power supply, and the equivalent version for zone 2, 3. (Ideal for larger bathrooms, kitchens, hallways, etc). Models EA are supplied with twin stereo waterproof ceiling speakers. Whilst for ease of installation, models IA feature integral twin stereo speakers. These are available in high quality mirror polished, brushed, gold or black stainless steel. |
